Georgetown is home to many agricultural opportunities stemming from acres of lush farmlands and multigenerational owned businesses.

Bi-Water Farm & Greenhouse is a 185-acre family farm lavished with greenhouses, farm markets and a host to activities such as hay rides, zip lines, petting zoo, miniature golf, paintball, Spooky Farmhouse, a “big monster pirate ship” and a corn maze. Don’t miss the fun at Bi-Water’s annual Autumn Fest, this year planned for September 9th through October 31st. In addition to fresh produce, visitors find homemade fudge and jams and jellies at the farm market. Bi Water Farm is open daily. Check the website for hours and special events. Elmwood offers visitors monthly “From the Ground Up” tours to learn how food raised without the use of chemical pesticides reaches your plate. Evans Orchard & Cider Mil is like an amusement park of farms. This fifth-generation farm stretches out over 175 acres with family-fun activities like an apple cider slider, Rat Racers Big Wheel track, swings and tire climbs, and even a Barn Yard Petting Zoo. With the only cider mill in central Kentucky, this farm offers some of the best cider and fried apple pies in the area. They even allow you to pick your own flowers and fruit! Evans Orchard is open every day except for Mondays. The Play Area is open every day that the market is open for a single admission fee that also includes entry to the Barn Yard Petting Zoo. Triple J Farm is located over hundreds of acres with 140 acres devoted to produce and other crops and 220 acres just for cattle. Customers can purchase farm-fresh produce 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Triple J offers a CSA program, Fresh Market and a Farmhouse Kitchen filled with homemade breads, cinnamon rolls and other sweets. The farm is closed on Sundays. triplejfarm.org, 502-316-4473.
