Royal Spring Park

royalspringpark

Royal Spring is considered the birthplace of bourbon, as colorful Reverend Elijah Craig is credited with distilling the first spirits in Kentucky. Also located here was the first paper mill West of the Appalachians and a log cabin built in 1874 by former slave Milton Leach. Royal Spring Park features picnic tables and bike racks, perfect for a visit with the family. You can find this spring at Water Street and West Main Street across from Bourbon 30 Spirits and Local Feed.
