Feb 5-24, 2018 - Love Your Downtown

Love locally with Georgetown’s Love Your Downtown passports! From Feb. 5-24, locals and visitors can pick up a FREE shopping, dining and services passport at participating businesses in Downtown Georgetown. The Love Your Downtown passports encourage the public to visit local businesses in our downtown in efforts to receive passport stamps/signatures. After visiting 10 or more locations, participants can turn in their passport at one of the businesses to be entered to win a basket full of merchandise! Some of the participating businesses include Adorabelles, Birdsong Quilting & Crafts, Em & Me, More Than Cake, Sweet & Sassy Ashley’s, Bourbon 30, Anniemals, Slainte Public House, Miss Behaven, Simple Charm, Upbeat Cafe, Seeds and Saplings, and more. The Love Your Downtown Passport event will take place during normally scheduled business hours. Winners will be contacted during the last week of February. March 1-31, 2018 - Annual Georgetown Quilt Show

The Elkhorn Creek Quilters presents the 16th Annual Quilt Show celebrating quilts of all types. Visit the Quilt Show during the month of March at Georgetown/Scott County Museum, Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


March 22-25, 2018 - Road to the Horse

2018 is the 15th anniversary of the Road to the Horse! Fans at Road to the Horse, follow the journey and witness an accumulation of a lifetime of passion and knowledge be put to the test as elite clinicians from around the world face off for the coveted World Championship of Colt Starting title.


March 24-31, 2018 - #GtownEats Week

Dine in the delicacies of Georgetown during #GtownEats Week, March 24-31. #GTownEats Week is an 8-day culinary celebration for local Georgetown restaurants, bakeries, and drinking establishments. Businesses have the opportunity to offer multi-course meals and/or unique menu items at a discounted price. Customers are encouraged to stop in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at #GtownEats businesses for exclusive meals and deals - only available during this designated week. #GtownEats locations TBA.


April 21-22, 2018 - Georgetown Kite & Culture Festival

As spring returns to Kentucky so does the Annual Georgetown Kite and Culture Festival. The festival is a celebration of international cultures paired with exciting food, music, cultural demonstrations and kite flying. Come fly a kite with the Georgetown Rotary Club on the historic grounds of the Cardome Centre in Georgetown, Kentucky. Don't have a kite? No worries - kites will be available for purchase on site at one of the many booths. Other activities include free children's games and inflatables.


April 26-29, 2018 - Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event

The Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event is one of the most prestigious equestrian competitions in the world and the only Four Star Event in the Western Hemisphere. This event draws more than 100,000 spectators to the Kentucky Horse Park during the last weekend of April to enjoy the Olympic sport of Eventing. The Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event welcomes some of the best horses and riders from all over and is seen by millions on worldwide telecasts, including a telecast on NBC in the United States.
