Southern Lights Holiday Festival
Nov. 29-Dec. 31, open M-TH 5:30-9pm and F-S 5:30-10pm

The annual Southern Lights Holiday Festival takes place at the Kentucky Horse Park, Nov. 29-Dec. 31 (indoor holiday festival activities closed Dec. 24-31). With three full miles of lights, this family-friendly festival has an eye-popping, selfie-worthy array of holiday displays. Drive through the lights, then enjoy park activities: local crafts, model trains and mini train rides, visits with Santa, pony and camel rides, an exotic petting zoo and more. Browse the Kentucky Horse Park Gift Shop and see the Bluegrass Railroad Club Model Trains!

 

Christmas Candlelight Tours
Dec. 6-8, 13-17 from 6-9pm
Ward Hall, 1782 Frankfort Rd.

The grand and gracious Greek-Revival-style mansion, Ward Hall, will be resplendent with the glow of dozens of candles during its annual Christmas Candlelight Tours, this year taking place Dec. 6-8 and 13-17. Explore this 12,000-square-foot villa that was paid for in $50,000 in gold when it was built in the 1850s and hear the stories of Sallie Ward, the “Belle of Louisville,” who loved nothing more than scandalizing polite society.

Georgetown First United Methodist Church invites you to celebrate Christmas with us at our free City of Bethlehem!  You will be guided through a Live Nativity with 11 realistic scenes and hear the greatest Christmas story ever told – complete with actors and live animals including a camel, donkeys, and sheep!
Once you have experienced the Nativity story, come warm up inside with hot apple cider, cocoa, and cookies as you enjoy live music.

 

Stamping Ground Christmas Festival and Parade
Dec. 14 begins at 3pm
Main Street, Stamping Ground Kentucky
Save the date for Stamping Ground's annual Christmas Festival & Parade on Saturday, December 14th.
- Christmas festivites at Buffalo Square begin at 3pm
- Stamping Ground Elementary play at Buffalo Square at 4pm
- Parade lineup begins at 4:45pm at Edgewood
- Parade will begin at 5pm and end at Locust Fork Rd.
- Christmas Tree lighting will be directly after the parade
