September 7-October 31, 2019 - AutumnFest

Known as the “Disney of central Kentucky farms,” Bi Water pulls out the stops during its AutumnFest beginning Sept. 7 with hay rides, zip lines, petting zoo, miniature golf, paintball, Spooky Farmhouse and more. New for 2019: special weekends for grandparents, hometown heroes, apple-pickers and pumpkin’ fanatics. The fun lasts through Oct. 31.


September 14-October 31, 2019 - Harvest Festival

Evans Orchard's Harvest Festival takes place Sept. 14 through Oct. 31, with amusement park-like rides including a Rat Racers Big Wheel track and hay castle, plus U-pick apples and pumpkins, pony and hay rides and a Barn Yard Petting Zoo.


October 18-19, 25-26, 2019 - Haunted Trails of Whispering Woods

Halloween in Horse Country starts and ends at the Haunted Trails of Whispering Woods. For only $10 per victim/person, you can take a spooky wagon ride pulled by ghostly horses deep into Whispering Woods Riding Stables’ 250-acre wooded terrain. October 19, 2019 - 10th Annual Ward Hall Vintage Base Ball Day

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 19th as Ward Hall will host their tenth annual vintage base ball game! This will be a fun event that gives a look into the historic origins of America's greatest pastime. Come watch Black Bottom 9 from Ohio take on the Rising Sun Belle Rivers from Indiana in what promises to be a spirited match. Admission: $5 for ages 14 and up and $3 for ages 7-13. Free for those ages 6 and under. Anyone in their Little League uniform will be admitted for free!

October 25-November 3, 2019 - National Horse Show

The National Horse Show, a 6-day hunter/jumper event consistently ranked by the North American Riders Group as one of the top shows in the United States, takes place at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park beginning Oct. 25. Each year, the National Horse Show welcomes Olympians and World Champions from across the globe, as well as the nation’s top junior riders. www.nhs.org


October 31, 2019 - Spook-Tacular Trick-or-Treating

Downtown businesses welcome trick-or-treaters from 11am to 2pm on Thursday, Oct. 31. Stop in participating shops as they prepare activities and pass out CANDY to kids dressed in costume! Community-wide trick-or-treating takes place this evening from 6-8pm in participating neighborhoods.
