September 15-October 29, 2018 - Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival at Evans Orchard will take place every weekend through Halloween. U-pick apples and pumpkins! Pony and hay rides. Mums, fodder shocks, pumpkins and more. Come celebrate the fall season with Evans Orchard!


October 27-November 4, 2018 - National Horse Show

The National Horse Show, a 6-day hunter/jumper event consistently ranked by the North American Riders Group as one of the top shows in the United States, takes place at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park beginning Oct. 27. Get your tickets to this prestigious and fun event at www.nhs.org


October 31, 2018 - Spook-Tacular Trick or Treating

Downtown businesses welcome trick-or-treaters from 11am to 2pm on Halloween day. Stop in participating shops as they prepare activities and pass out CANDY to kids dressed in costume!


November 16-December 31, 2018 - Southern Lights

The annual Southern Lights Holiday Festival takes place at the Kentucky Horse Park. With three full miles of lights, this family-friendly festival has an eye-popping, selfie-worthy array of holiday displays. Drive through the lights, then enjoy park activities: local crafts, model trains and mini train rides, visits with Santa, pony and camel rides, an exotic petting zoo and more. November 24, 2018 - Small Business Saturday

Shop small and celebrate your community with the small businesses that make it special – this is the mission of Small Business Saturday, a promotion launched by American Express in 2010 to encourage people across the country to support small, local businesses. With dozens and dozens of independently-owned shops and boutiques, galleries and restaurants – many located in its picturesque Victorian-era downtown, Georgetown makes it easy to support this annual shopping tradition with promotions and discounts at participating small businesses.


December 1, 2018 - Home for the Holidays Parade & Activities

Come “Home for the Holidays,” on Dec. 1 when Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Commission presents its annual Christmas tree lighting and parade, activities and open houses. Picturesque with its Victorian streetscape and buildings – 200 are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places – downtown Georgetown will be decorated for the holidays and ready to welcome Santa during the parade at 6pm.
