Celebrating our relationship with the horse since 1978, the Kentucky Horse Park welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year. Owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Park is a treasure to our state and a facility unlike any other in the world.
The Kentucky Horse Park’s Winter Season begins on November 8, 2023, and runs through March 10, 2024. During this time, the horses spend most of their days turned out in their paddocks but enjoy taking turns visiting Park guests during Stall-Side Chats. Guests can visit the International Museum of the Horse, American Saddlebred Museum, or Wrigley Media Theater to see the short film Rein of Nobility.
TOURS:
The Spring Season begins on March 13, 2024, and runs through April 28, 2024. During Spring Season our guests can enjoy live equine presentations, a scenic horse-drawn trolley tour, and the International Museum of the Horse!
The Main Season runs from May through November. During this time guests can enjoy even more live equine presentations, meet racing legends, see draft horse presentations, hop in the saddle for a horseback trail ride or pony ride, facts & fun at the museum, and more!
