Toyota Biodiversity Trail
Toyota Biodiversity Trail
Walk the five paths of this wildland filled with plants and trees native to Kentucky. Circle Great Blue Heron Lake and the Eastern Bluebird Loop, see Pollinator Passage buzzing with activity and step under the Chinquapin Oak Arch, passing natural landmarks and bird watching areas along the way.
The path named Morizukuri lives up to its meaning, “to create a forest,” with 4,000 trees—swamp white oak, river birch, pawpaw, chinquapin oak and pin oak—shading this corridor. Free and open to all, this Wildlife Habitat Council Conservation Certified Site covers over 1.8 miles.
