Ward Hall

Ward Hall is the grandest Greek Revival residence in Kentucky, and one of the finest examples of a mid-nineteenth century classical building in the United States. The more than 12,000-square-foot house was completed circa 1857 and attributed to British-born military engineer and Lexington architect, Major Thomas Lewinski.

Tours of this historical mansion are available the first and second weekend (Sat./Sun.) of each month from April to November, 1-6 pm. Group tours are available by appointment. Special holiday tour dates include Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-28), Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day (Sept. 3) and December Candlelight Christmas Tours (TBD). Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for ages 12-18, and free for children under 12.
