Old Friends Retire Thoroughbred Farm
Meet equine A-listers like Silver Charm—the oldest living Kentucky Derby winner, Kentucky Derby and
Preakness Stakes winner, I’ll Have Another, and Breeders’ Cup World Champion, Little Mike. About 175 equine athletes cavort, pose for pics and generally live their best life at this award-winning aftercare facility.
Get up close and personal with these celebrities of the turf as well as farm mascot, Little Silver Charm—a miniature horse with a big personality—on a guided tour. Pet them. Feed them carrots. And learn all about their million-dollar glory days.

Kentucky Horse Park
Sixty different horses representing dozens of breeds live, work and play in five different barn at Kentucky Horse Park,
a working horse farm and equine education facility—and the only one of its kind in the world.
Wander through the galleries at the International Museum of the Horse and learn about the horse from ancient times to today’s sporting events. Pet, feed and groom the horses. Saddle up for guided pony or trail rides. Tour the park on a Horse-Drawn Trolley Tour. Head to the Kids Barn where little ones can jump their own course of fences on foot. Camp nearby at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground for quick and convenient access to the park.
Tours:
The Spring Season begins on March 13, 2024, and runs through April 28, 2024. During Spring Season our guests can enjoy live equine presentations, a scenic horse-drawn trolley tour, and the International Museum of the Horse!
The Main Season runs from May through November. During this time guests can enjoy even more live equine presentations, meet racing legends, see draft horse presentations, hop in the saddle for a horseback trail ride or pony ride, facts & fun at the museum, and more!
