Time to hit the hay and go behind-the-scenes on a guided tour of some of Kentucky’s most celebrated horse farms and facilities, among them: Coolmore at Ashford Farm, home to Triple Crown and Breeder’s Cup Classic winner American Pharaoah; Clairborne Farm, steward of the cemetery with the final resting place of Secretariat—considered the greatest racehorse of all time; and Keeneland, site of morning training for the horses at this historic racetrack. Public tours are available almost every day. Private tours are also available.
